Dance Programs

DANCE inspires good work habits and a healthy lifestyle choice. It develops flexibility, strength, rhythm, balance, good posture, body alignment and overall coordination. It allows children to develop new and lasting friendships and helps them learn teamwork, respect for others and social skills that will be valuable as they grow and mature. Our Dance Program is a “NON-EXAM” approach to learning a variety of dance disciplines. All of our dance students will perform at our year end recital in June.

We currently offer the following Dance and Acrobatic Classes:

JAZZ 1 (ages 6-8 3/4 Hr per week), 2 (ages 9-12 3/4 Hr per week) SR JAZZ (multiple years of dance experience)
Students learn how to develop muscle strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination and dance technique in this high-energy, fast-paced class. Classes will include a full body warm-up, across the floor dance steps, and will conclude with a dance combination.

ACROBATICS (ages 7+ 3/4 per week)
Our studio will offer a weekly Acrobatics Class ("Acro"). Miss Loranne has recently become certified in the new Acrobatic Arts Certification Program, a professional curriculum for acrobatic dance. She is very excited to introduce these new skills to her students! "Acro skills are becoming increasingly important in the sport of baton twirling and we want our students to develop strong acrobatic skills in addition to their twirling skills." Students will increase their strength and flexibility, balance, and tumbling skills in a progressive environment. Students will have the opportunity to be tested on each level in the acro curriculum.
